Seton LaSalle had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Bishop Canevin Crusaders 9-0. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Anthony LoCastro and Josh Burkholder were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, LoCastro tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Burkholder pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, LoCastro scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Burkholder scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
