Fellowship Christian came tearing into  Friday's  matchup with six straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Whitefield Academy WolfPack 31-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Paladins' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the WolfPack are ranked 131st).
Fellowship Christian got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jonathan Granby out in front who rushed for 140 yards and one  touchdown on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cj Givers, who rushed for 92 yards and one  TD on only 13 carries.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Fellowship Christian was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 290  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Whitefield Academy only  rushed for 99.
 Fellowship Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Patrick Trummie and  Givers.
Fellowship Christian's record is now 8-1. As for Whitefield Academy, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 8-2.
As of now, neither Fellowship Christian nor the WolfPack have any future games scheduled.
