Last Friday, Heathwood Hall Episcopal took their match with ease, bagging a 73-32 win over Hammond. The Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 26 points or more this season.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal can attribute much of their success to SaBreya Monsanto, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds, and Lauren Jacobs, who went 14 for 23 to rack up 32 points and seven boards. The contest was Jacobs' 11th in a row with at least 19 points. Shamarie Hayes was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Ben Lippen hadn't done well against Hammond recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Ben Lippen strolled past Hammond with points to spare, taking the game 51-36.

Ben Lippen's record now sits at 14-9. As for Heathwood Hall Episcopal, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal took their win against Ben Lippen in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 65-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Heathwood Hall Episcopal since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
