Football Recap: Emerald Comes Up Short

After flying high against Broome last Friday, Emerald came back down to earth. The Vikings came up short against the Strom Thurmond Rebels on Friday, falling 35-13. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Emerald still got an impressive performance from Christopher Dean, who rushed for 160 yards and one TD while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Dean is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 102 every time he's taken the field this season.
