Etiwanda hadn't done well against Chino Hills recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Huskies. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Huskies back in March, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 17-25, 25-17.

Etiwanda's offense was headlined by Julius Tandy and Cohen Jimeno, who picked up 15 kills apiece. They got some help from Rodrick Dela Cruz and his 41 assists. Finally, Gerome Seeney kept Etiwanda's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Despite the defeat, Chino Hills had strong showings from Alex Penh, who had seven digs and three aces, and Daniel Barker, who had 17 digs and one assist. Penh is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 14 every time he's taken the court this season.

The win made it two in a row for Etiwanda and bumps their season record up to 10-13. As for Chino Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Etiwanda has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Rancho Cucamonga on the 16th. As for Chino Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Upland on the 16th.
