Volleyball Recap: Sperry Comes Up Short

Sperry suffered their biggest loss since August 11th on Thursday. They came up short against the Dewey Bulldoggers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldoggers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-7, 25-5.

Sperry now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Dewey, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sperry will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Berryhill at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Dewey, they will square off against Sequoyah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
