Basketball Game Preview: St. Cloud Bulldogs vs. Harmony Longhorns

The St. Cloud Bulldogs will take on the Harmony Longhorns on Friday. St. Cloud will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

St. Cloud is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lake Nona 86-56. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Harmony entered their tilt with Cypress Creek on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 54-47 victory over the Bears. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Bears are ranked 287th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Harmony has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for St. Cloud, their win bumped their record up to 23-3.

St. Cloud couldn't quite finish off Harmony in their previous matchup back in January and fell 40-37. Can St. Cloud avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
