Football Recap: Traverse City Central Piles Up the Points Against Western

After losing to Western the last time they met, Traverse City Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trojans claimed a resounding 50-14 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Trent Gle had a dynamite game, picking up 90 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Traverse City Central has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Western, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Traverse City Central will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Davison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Western, they will head out to challenge Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
