Basketball Recap: Trinity Leadership Comes Up Short

Trinity Leadership was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 45-25 to the Wilson Wildcats.

Mia Yonker was the offensive standout of the game as she went 6 of 12 on her way to 17 points and five rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Howie, who posted nine points.

Trinity Leadership now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Wilson, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.

Trinity Leadership wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 39-37 victory against South Oak Cliff on the 27th. As for Wilson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-41 loss against Wilmer-Hutchins on the 27th.
