Basketball Recap: Barron Takes a Loss

Barron blew Ladysmith out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Ladysmith got their revenge. The Barron Golden Bears fell just short of the Ladysmith Lumberjacks by a score of 37-34. The Golden Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lumberjacks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

With the defeat, Barron broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3. As for Ladysmith, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Barron will head out to face off against Cameron at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cameron's defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so Barron's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Ladysmith, they will be home for the holidays to greet Phillips at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
