Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Wins Going Away Against Albemarle School

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Camden County, Northeastern was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Albemarle School Colts as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Northeastern never let Albemarle School on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-23.

Emma Mullins paced Northeastern's offense, picking up 14 kills. Mullins got some help from Mia Jones and her 21 assists. Mullins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

The victory got Northeastern back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Northeastern will venture away from home to face off against Holmes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Albemarle School, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Cape Hatteras at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
