Basketball Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

Chaparral lost against Silver back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chaparral Lobos received a blow as they fell 70-56 to the Silver Fighting Colts.

Chaparral's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-15. As for Silver, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chaparral will square off against Deming at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Silver, they will face off against Santa Teresa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
