Basketball Recap: Isabella Takes a Loss

Isabella was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 34th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 74-35 loss at the hands of the Holtville Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-48 back in December of 2024.

Isabella's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Holtville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13.

Isabella didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 92-25 defeat against Tuscaloosa Academy on the 25th. As for Holtville, they will take on Billingsley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Billingsley is on a four-game streak of home losses, Holtville a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change.
