Baseball Recap: Elite Comes Up Short on the Road Against Buckingham Charter

Elite had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Buckingham Charter Knights by a score of 5-4. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

The win snapped Buckingham Charter's losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elite will venture away from home to square off against Swett at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Buckingham Charter, they are taking a road trip to take on Esparto at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
