Warner won against Okemah last Tuesday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Warner Eagles had just enough and edged out the Central Tigers 8-6. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 12-7 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Jon Brown, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those hits marked the first that he got this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Memphis Swimmer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Warner always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Warner is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. Central's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.
