Soccer Recap: Olympus Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Olympus after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Brighton Bengals by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Olympus have lost by just one goal.

Olympus has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Brighton, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-4.

Olympus and Brighton will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Titans see the pitch they'll take on Alta at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Brighton, their break will end when they face West at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th.
