Spooner had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 19-14 W over the Bloomer Blackhawks on Friday. The Rails have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blackhawks, too.

Spooner's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Bloomer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
