Volleyball Recap: Carolina International Takes a Loss

Carolina International lost against Piedmont Community Charter on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Comets came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-8, 25-11.

Among those leading the charge was Shelby Ostrander, who had five aces. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more aces the last three times she's played.

Carolina International's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Carolina International nor Piedmont Community Charter have any future games scheduled.
