Perkins won the last time they faced Clyde and Sam Schweinfurth did his part to make sure it happened again. The Pirates really took it to the Fliers for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-14 victory thanks in part to Schweinfurth, who threw for 234 yards and five touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Perkins' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise.

The win got Perkins back to even at 3-3. As for Clyde, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Perkins will square off against Sandusky at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates are facing the Blue Streaks at the right time seeing as the Blue Streaks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Clyde, they will face off against Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Fliers surely won't give up without a fight.
