It was a good run, but Dade County unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 6-2 to the Trion Bulldogs. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Dade County couldn't quite close it out.

Dade County's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Trion, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dade County will face off against Fort Payne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Payne will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Dade County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Trion, they will take on LaFayette at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
