Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Leopards vs. Thunder Ridge Longhorns

Lincoln is 1-9 against Thunder Ridge since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The two teams will face off at 6:00 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Lincoln is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They came up short against Canton-Galva, falling 52-28.

Meanwhile, Thunder Ridge came up short against Hill City on Monday and fell 45-32.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Thunder Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Lincoln took a serious blow against Thunder Ridge in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 58-19. Thankfully for Lincoln, Starla Cochrun (who went 6-for-10 to rack up 16 points along with three steals and three blocks) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
