Baseball Recap: Polytechnic Panthers vs. Providence Pioneers

There's no place like home for Polytechnic, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Providence Pioneers on Thursday and snuck past 3-2. This was a revenge contest for Polytechnic, as the team was forced to settle for a 4-3 defeat when these two played last Tuesday.

Caiden Kennedy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Sean Asperger was incredible, going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
