Softball Recap: McNair Takes a Loss

McNair fell victim to Stagg and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Delta Kings, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

McNair saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Naohmi Tapia, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

McNair has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Stagg, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

McNair didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-3 defeat against Chavez on the 8th. As for Stagg, they have also already played their next game, a 7-0 loss against Tokay on the 8th.
