Santa Ana Valley scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 26-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saddleback Roadrunners. The Falcons were down 26-6 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Santa Ana Valley dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Saddleback, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
