Basketball Recap: Custer County Drops Season-High Score on Columbia Falls

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Custer County). They put the hurt on the Columbia Falls Wildcats with a sharp 68-45 win on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cowboys have posted since February 22nd.

The win made it two in a row for Custer County and bumps their season record up to 3-2. As for Columbia Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Custer County and Baker will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Columbia Falls, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Frenchtown at 7:15 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
