Eastlake entered their tilt with Wellington on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 61-53 win over the Wellington Dukes. While the Wolves didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Eastlake's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Wellington, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Eastlake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-50 defeat against Bainbridge on the 28th. As for Wellington, they will challenge Loudonville at 7:30 p.m. on January 3rd. Wellington is facing Loudonville at the right time seeing as Loudonville is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
