Baseball Recap: Branson Bulls vs. De Anza Dons

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Branson can now relate to. They fell just short of the De Anza Dons by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Bulls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Mo Jacoby spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Branson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cobe Benjamin, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Branson has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for De Anza, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-15-1 record this season.
