Basketball Recap: Lakeridge Comes Up Short

Lakeridge suffered their biggest loss since December 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Tualatin Timberwolves, falling 76-48. While losing is never fun, the Pacers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Timberwolves are ranked first).

Lakeridge has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Tualatin, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-4.

Coming up, Lakeridge will face off against West Linn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tualatin, they will head out to take on Lake Oswego at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tualatin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Lake Oswego likes a good challenge.
