Volleyball Game Preview: Pueblo South Colts vs. Pueblo East Eagles

Pueblo South hasn't had much luck against Pueblo East recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Colts will welcome the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Pueblo South lost 3-0 to Pueblo Central on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-14, 25-3.

Meanwhile, Pueblo East suffered their biggest loss since November 10, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Pueblo County, falling 3-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Pueblo County scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-21.

Pueblo South's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Pueblo East, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.
