Basketball Recap: Potter-Dix Comes Up Short

Potter-Dix lost against Kimball back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Potter-Dix Coyotes had to suffer through a 67-20 loss at the hands of the Kimball Longhorns. The matchup marked the Coyotes' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Potter-Dix lost, don't look at Landon Gasseling. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points.

Potter-Dix has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Kimball, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Potter-Dix will venture away from home to challenge Leyton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kimball, they are taking a road trip to face off against Bridgeport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bridgeport is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.
