Van Arsdale strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Prospect Heights 23-3. While Van Arsdale didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Van Arsdale pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Prospect Heights, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Van Arsdale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-5 victory against Canarsie on the 25th. As for Prospect Heights, they will head out on the road to challenge Uncommon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
