Softball Recap: Green Bay Southwest Takes a Loss

Green Bay Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-2 to the Coleman Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-2 on Saturday.

Tyla Longlais made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Green Bay Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Coleman, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cougars beat Green Bay Southwest by a score of 11-2 later that day.
