Rockingham County is 9-1 against Northeast Guilford since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Meanwhile, Northeast Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Person, falling 19-1.

Northeast Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Rockingham County, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.

Everything went Rockingham County's way against Northeast Guilford when the teams last played on Tuesday, as Rockingham County made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
