Baseball Recap: Monsignor Pace Comes Up Short

Monsignor Pace and Miami Springs squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Monsignor Pace had to settle for second. They came up short against the Golden Hawks, falling 10-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 on Monday.

Monsignor Pace saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yuniel Paredes, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Rudy Marichal also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Monsignor Pace and nudges their season record down to 17-13. As for Miami Springs, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 24-3.

As of now, neither Monsignor Pace nor the Golden Hawks have any future games scheduled.
