Basketball Recap: Galilean Christian Academy vs. Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks
Galilean Christian Academy played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 72-50 to the Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks.
Mid-Missouri HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyle Aulgur out in front who went 8 of 14 on his way to 22 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. That's the most steals Aulgur has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Lovell, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 21 points and seven rebounds.
Galilean Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-8.
Galilean Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 86-84 defeat against Faith Christian on the 28th. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-54 victory against Arthur-Okaw Christian on the 28th.
