Softball Recap: Stadium Has No Trouble Against Curtis

After only one run in their last contest, Stadium made sure to put some runs up on the board against Curtis on Friday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Vikings. With that victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 7.3 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on London Kim, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Kate Erickson was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

Stadium was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .567. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Stadium now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Curtis, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coming up, Stadium will head out on the road to challenge Auburn Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Ravens will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Curtis, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Olympia at 4:00 p.m.
