Volleyball Recap: Bellflower Comes Up Short

Bellflower lost against Gahr back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buccaneers came up short against the Gladiators, falling 3-0. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-19.

Natasha DeVaul paced Bellflower's offense, picking up five kills. DeVaul got some help from Valerie Rivas and her 17 assists.

Bellflower's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Gahr, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-9.

Looking ahead, Bellflower will head out to challenge Firebaugh at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gahr, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pacifica at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
