Basketball Game Preview: Ambassador Lions vs. Summit SkyHawks

The Ambassador Lions are taking a road trip to challenge the Summit SkyHawks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Ambassador faced off against Animo City of Champions on Monday. Ambassador simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Animo City of Champions 75-25. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Summit came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 73-68 W against the Titans.

Summit pushed their record up to 18-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points over those games. As for Ambassador, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-4.
