Softball Recap: Westside Warriors vs. Trumann Wildcats

In what's become a running theme this season, Westside gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Trumann Wildcats a 10-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Westside.

Mckyna Craig made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Craig has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Craig was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-2 with four RBI, two doubles, and a run.

In other batting news, Remi Crain was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Ava Jones was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
