Basketball Recap: Grass Range/Winnett Starts Season with Win on the Road

Grass Range/Winnett had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed past the Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades to the tune of 74-28 on Saturday. The Rangers not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since January 28th (when they won 65-17).

Despite the loss, Reed Point/Rapelje still got an impressive performance from Landen Bryant, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Herzog, who posted seven points.

Reed Point/Rapelje's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Grass Range/Winnett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Reed Point/Rapelje, they will square off against Roundup at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
