There's no place like home for Brentwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Nolensville Knights 3-0 on Tuesday. The Bruins not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 24, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While Brentwood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 25-23.

Daisy Oatsvall paced Brentwood's offense, picking up 11 kills. Oatsvall got some help from Lauren Duncan and her 15 assists. Duncan also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sela Baldwin, racking up two apiece.

Brentwood has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Nolensville, they moved to 8-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brentwood is set to square off against their familiar foe Ravenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Nolensville will face off against rival Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
