Basketball Recap: Liam Mcgrath and Blake Nelson Secure Win for Pe Ell

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Naselle, Pe Ell was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 58-43 victory over Non Varsity Opponent.

Leading Pe Ell to victory were Blake Nelson and Liam McGrath. Nelson went 8 for 11 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds, while McGrath went 6 of 8 on his way to 12 points. McGrath is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Harris, who posted ten points.

Pe Ell's win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Pe Ell will be playing in front of their home fans against Naselle at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Pe Ell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.6 points per game this season. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-45 loss against Northport on the 28th.
