There's no place like home for Frankfort, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats 2-1 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redbirds also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Frankfort was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 20-25, 25-15.

Evyn Lemmon paced Frankfort's offense, picking up 17 kills. Lemmon got some help from Reese James and her 34 assists. Emma Ridgeway controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Anna-Jonesboro lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sadie Cross, who had 14 digs. Maddie Moss was another key player, getting 13 digs.

The victory snapped Frankfort's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 6-14 record. As for Anna-Jonesboro, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-20.
