Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Auburn). They claimed a resounding 56-0 victory over the JAG Jaguars. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Jaguars are ranked 83rd).

Auburn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaeden King led the charge by rushing for 25 yards and two touchdowns, while also catching one score. Another player making a difference was Joshua Askew, who gained 84 total yards and a touchdown.

Auburn didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Tre Smith, Isaac Benford, and Greg Williams picked up one apiece. Benford got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win was the third in a row for Auburn, bringing their record up to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.0 points over those games. As for JAG, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Auburn will take on Moody at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Blue Devils have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. As for JAG, they will face off against Percy Julian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will be up against the Phoenix's rather soft defense (which has allowed 36 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
