Cedar Springs had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past the Western Michigan Christian Warriors 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Cedar Springs were the better team in the second half.

Coming up, Cedar Springs will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Greenville at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Western Michigan Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Spring Lake at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.
