MaxPreps Regional High School Football Computer Rankings

Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) moved back into the No. 1 spot in the Northeast Region and is the only new No. 1 team in this week's MaxPreps High School Football Regional Rankings.

Bergen Catholic edged DePaul Catholic (Wayne, N.J.), while previous No. 1 St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, N.J.) fell to St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia). Bergen Catholic and St. Joseph Regional will meet on Oct. 24.

The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. For the purposes of these rankings, the country was broken down into five regions:



West: California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Hawaii, Alaska, and Montana.

Southwest: Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Midwest: Arkansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

South: Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

Northeast: Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Delaware and Vermont.


West
