Softball Recap: Lakeside Christian Takes a Loss

Lakeside Christian suffered their biggest loss since February 18th on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to the Northside Christian Mustangs. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 10-9.

Lakeside Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayva David, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Lakeside Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. As for Northside Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Coming up, Lakeside Christian will square off against Hernando Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Lakeside Christian is facing Hernando Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Hernando Christian Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Northside Christian, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-4 win against Admiral Farragut on the 3rd.
