Softball Recap: Houlka Comes Up Short

Houlka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-1 to the Bruce Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent loss being a 22-1 defeat last Monday.

Houlka's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Bruce, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Houlka is taking a road trip to square off against Shannon at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Bruce, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Union at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
