Volleyball Recap: Vallejo Comes Up Short

If Vallejo was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Kennedy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redhawks fell 3-1 to the Swett Warriors on Wednesday. The Redhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 25-0.

Vallejo has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Swett, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Vallejo is set to face off against their familiar foe Bethel at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Swett will square off against rival Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
