Basketball Recap: Gadsden Takes a Loss

Gadsden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Alamogordo Tigers, falling 71-44. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-15.

Gadsden's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Alamogordo, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gadsden will face off against Organ Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Organ Mountain will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Gadsden surely won't give up without a fight. Alamogordo has already played their next contest (against Centennial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
